Age limit for Indian Army Bharti(आवश्यक उम्र):-
General Duty Posts:
According to the Indian Army, department declares age limit notification rule applicant must be minimum 17½ years old and upper 21 years old Upper 21 years old applicant will not submit their registration form or can not attend the Indian army recruitment rally.
Clerk/Nursing Assistant Posts:
If the applicant wants to join an army clerk position then the candidate age limit also applicable. Minimum 17½ years and maximum 23 years old candidates can attend the Indian rally bharti.
Technical Posts
Minimum age of candidates for this post should be 17 years 6 month and the upper age should be 23 years.
Tradesman Posts
Candidates required age for this post as army rule that candidate minimum 17½ years old and maximum 23 years old.

- PAN Card/Adhaar card as identity proof
- Residency Certificate
- Birth Certificate (only non-metric candidates)

- On the top home page search for the “JCO/OR”

Indian Army Physical Steps:-
‘Indian Army Admit Card’
Which candidates are new to attending the Indian army rally and not know how to process India army physical step, what recruited in physical fitness test? Keeping in mind these physical steps, if a candidate prepares for the upcoming Indian Army recruitment, then he can get a good rank in the Indian Army’s physical steps.
Indian Army the physical point (Race, Height, Age limits, Weight, Long jump, High Jump etc) is an important step to complete in Physical fitness test or PFT. Join any defense job like Indan Army, Indian Navy (MR/SSR/AA), Indian Airforce (Airmen or officer) candidate must be fit in the physical process.
Race Distance and Timing
The candidates who have completed the first point of the race in Indian Army Recruitment Rally. Those candidates will be allowed for next physical steps. Indian arms forces, the race is the main point of physical step.
Total Race distance – 1600 m or 1.6 km
Candidate finished the race in maximum 5:40 minutes then Score – 60 Marks
And if candidate finished the race in above 5:41 to 6:00 minutes Score – 48 Marks
Candidate Achieve their rank –
Excellent Position – must be complete the race in lowest 4 minutes & maximum 5 minutes.
Good Position – must be reached at the last finished point in 5+ minutes.
Indian Army Hight Recruited
Soldier General Duty Post:- 170 cm or 1.7 m
Technical,Clerk & Tradesman:- 168 cm or 1.68 m
Required Chest Size
In the Indian Army, the candidate’s chest is also measured, for this the candidate should have a chest size from 77 cm to 82 cm and the inflow of 5 cm should also be done.
Weight Need In Indian Army
There should be at least 48 kg or 50 kg weight for all categories (GD/Clerk/Tradesman/Nursing Assistant/Technical) of candidates And if the weight of candidate is higher than that, the weight will be determined according to the height of the candidate depending on the medical rules of the Indian Army.
Long Jump
Long Jump has been introduced in the Indian Army for all categories of candidates Candidates should run from some distance and at least 9 feet long, the opening of the pothole/Ditch and without the touch of the last line will be done by jumping.
Pull-Ups
The Pull-ups has been also implemented to measure the physical fitness of the candidate in the Indian Army to complete physical, the candidate will need to fill at least 6 pull-ups and 10 pull-ups will be required for the excellent rank.
Pull-ups points give as per given below-
- 10 Pull Ups – 40 mark
- 9 Pull-ups – 33 mark
- 8 Pull-ups – 27 mark
- 7 Pull-ups – 21 mark
- 6 Pull-ups – 16 mark
Zig Zag Balance
For all category candidates, Zig Zag balance has to maintain a stable position and walk on a thin strip of wood for requiring qualify.
Indian Army Admit Card Selection Process –
- Join Indian Army candidate must have completed the first point of physical fitness test.
- Army next step of written examination, which applicant ask all India/Current General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reigning & English question. Army written exam organize only offline mode at the army center. In the written exam will be expected to gain passing marks for the next medical step.
